Yes. Starter is free, needs no credit card, and gives you up to 5 finished shorts a month. Free shorts carry a RealTake watermark, smart cuts run at low strength, and the library is kept for 90 days.

One short: a vertical short-form video such as an Instagram Reel, a TikTok, a YouTube Short or a vertical LinkedIn clip. One raw video in, one finished video out. RealTake Clips turns a long recording into finished clips, with 60, 600, 1,500 or 4,000 source minutes a month on Starter, Presence, Authority and Empire.

Because takes are not all the same length. A one-minute take uses less of your plan than a two-minute one. If most of your takes run about a minute, you will be near the top of the range.

Each video uses part of your plan based on the length of the take you upload, so shorter takes use less. You see the exact cost of a video before it is made. AI-Generated Assets are counted separately, as a monthly allowance on each plan.

Images and clips made to order for moments where no suitable shot exists. They are the exception, not the base: your own footage, stock footage and motion graphics carry most videos without using any of this allowance.
